This is the home website for all those who can no longer stand by and watch whilst companies like Sainsburys ride roughshod through our communities.

The full history of Sainsbury’s ignoble role in the attempted destruction of yet another small London community can be found on these pages.

As can the various ways in which local residents can fight back.

Sainsbury’s attempt to establish themselves in White Hart Lane, Barnes, has been fought at every stage, culminating in a local referendum which overwhelmingly told them they were not wanted. (See referendum page)

We met with them, we offered a way out, they seemed to accept it.

Then we discovered just how unreliable and untrustworthy are the public utterances of public company Chief Executives.
